How Float Degrades the Racing Stripes

The SCAR-20 Bloodsport has a full 0.00–1.00 float range, meaning it can exist in all five wear conditions from Factory New to Battle-Scarred. In Factory New (0.00–0.07), the red racing stripes are perfectly clean with crisp edges and maximum color saturation against the dark body. The geometric patterns are sharp and the overall finish has a slight sheen. As float increases through Minimal Wear and Field-Tested, minor scratches begin to appear on the body and edges of the red stripes, but the design retains its visual impact. By Well-Worn (0.38–0.45), noticeable scratching is visible across the racing stripe pattern, and some areas show paint wear. In Battle-Scarred (0.45–1.00), heavy scratching appears throughout, the red loses some vibrancy, and the dark body shows significant wear marks.
